We prototype, design and develop the new institutional app for Grupo Asegurador La Segunda. An application designed so that users can access all the internal information of the company: authorities, directory, organizational units, institutional assemblies, tours, reports and balance sheets; and so that they can contact the organization.


The La Segunda Insurance Group is a group of national companies with a presence throughout Argentine territory, dedicated to operating in the branches of Property Insurance, Work Risks, Life Insurance and Retirement. With more than a thousand Personalized Care Centers, it is among the first comprehensive insurers in the country and has the support of the main reinsurers in the world.

State of affairs

Our client called us to develop an institutional app for the company. The main objective was that through this app all the internal content of the assemblies could be managed.

They had an application for this purpose, made by another provider, but it was not functional and had become obsolete for current times.

The app had to contain different user levels and therefore access to the content. The idea is that users belonging to the company can see all the content, both from the assemblies and other sections in general, and the rest of the users can access limited content.
Therefore, they needed an app with user management and dynamic content so that it can be updated automatically, and thus avoid having to upload new versions of the application.

Another thing that was requested of us was access or identification with iOS, in order to simplify the login and registration of people who use the application.

Our work

We created an app with complete user management, which means that different users have different levels of access to information, and with dynamic content, so it can be updated automatically.

First of all, we work on prototyping and various ui/ux improvements, so that the user experience is as satisfactory as possible.

To develop the project we use a hybrid application with Ionic and Angular.
For user management we use Firebase as the back end manager and for dynamic content we use our own API.

We apply SCRUM, an agile approach methodology that allows us to improve the efficiency and quality of the delivered product.
We divide the process into prototyping, development and layout stages in 15-day sprints.


The institutional app has already been launched and is working perfectly, constituting a very useful tool for our client and the company’s workers.

In the app you can create a user and view the following information:

  • All company numbers updated in real time.
  • Information about the companies that make up the Group, their history and the most important milestones in their career.
  • All data referring to the company’s meetings and events, with the possibility of generating the company’s agenda and event schedules related to the meeting.
  • Includes the reports and all documentation related to each event.
  • Digital tools and all advertising material to keep the sales force and staff updated and aligned with the company’s commercial objectives.
  • In addition, users will be able to contact the institution through a contact form or direct access to social networks.
  • They will also be able to view the authorities, directory and description of each of the organizational units of the Insurance Group.

We are very satisfied with the final result of this project. For us it is further proof that teamwork, carried out with passion, always pays off.
